Partnership creates powerful visualization and diagnostic features for mobile Electronic Health Records (EHR) solutions for Mac^®

Calgary, AB – June 4, 2009 - Calgary Scientific Inc., a leading innovator in advanced visualization solutions, has expanded its partnership with Edge Health Solutions, Inc. to include web-enablement through the PureWeb™ platform. Edge Health recently inked a multi-million dollar definitive agreement with Allscripts to deliver the Allscripts MyWay™ for Mac^® to physicians and dentists currently using practice management software on the Mac OS X^® platform.

Calgary Scientific’s ResMD™ web product vastly expands and extends the functionality of Allscripts MyWay for Mac and allows dentists and physicians to see actual diagnostic images through their iPhones, laptops or desktops – anytime, anywhere.

The multi-million dollar deal allows Edge Health the exclusive right to deliver the Calgary Scientific technology embedded within Allscripts MyWay™ for Mac®. This new offering supports the movement in Canada, the US and Europe toward EHR integrated technology that allows physicians to view diagnostic images, analyze patient files and share information with other medical professionals from a single source diagnostics environment.
